Founded in 2005, the RMD Pain and Palliative Care Trust is a registered nonprofit organization located in T. Nagar, Chennai, India. It is headed by Dr. Republica Sridhar, a seasoned expert in Palliative and Geriatric Care with more than three decades of experience in aiding the terminally ill.

Operating mainly within Tamil Nadu, India, the trust is recognized for its commitment to delivering compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need.

It holds ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and is affiliated with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).

Palliative & Geriatrics Care

With a distinguished history of achievement, RMD has made a significant difference in the lives of more than 130,000 beneficiaries. Renowned for its expertise, the trust focuses on offering pain relief and palliative hospice services to those facing terminal illnesses in Tamil Nadu, India. The vision is centered around delivering individualized care through various avenues, such as outpatient, inpatient, home-based, and hospital care. To date, RMD Trust has delivered palliative and hospice care to over 91,000 patients and has provided training in palliative care to more than 40,000 individuals.
